Ingredients:
- 1 cup Arborio rice
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Heat the milk in a saucepan and add the saffron threads, letting them steep.
- In a separate pot, cook the Arborio rice in a small amount of water until tender.
- Gradually stir in the warm milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Simmer, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and becomes creamy (about 25-30 minutes).
- Pour into serving dishes and let cool. Garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon before serving.
