Saffron Infused Rice Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Arborio rice
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon (for garnish)

 

Instructions:

  1. Heat the milk in a saucepan and add the saffron threads, letting them steep.
  2. In a separate pot, cook the Arborio rice in a small amount of water until tender.
  3. Gradually stir in the warm milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  4. Simmer, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and becomes creamy (about 25-30 minutes).
  5. Pour into serving dishes and let cool. Garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon before serving.
